For my portfolio I want to demonstrate how I can create imagery that communicates a story. I devised a simple adventure story to give myself a concept to work around. From my concept I created characters, creatures and environments. . .
I aimed to design the main character to communicate the sense of adventure, as well as giving his appearance context that links to his characterisation. His weathered and rugged look convey to the audience his exposure to the outdoors. His outfit is made to look practical and functional for his way of life as well as displaying the society of the time and the lack of modern influence.
